Qualification & Experience:
Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering Degree
2-5 years relevant experience

Job Responsibilities:
Lead, coordinate and organize all production and maintenance related activities in dedicated area of responsibility within established procedures and practices in order to ensure that volumes, performance targets are met while maintaining quality, safety and environmental standards.
Maintain equipment and machinery in operating and optimal conditions in terms of its electrical and mechanical devices. Design and implement solutions to improve the performance of the machines. Lead, organize and control the work of team employees, motivate and coach them in order to ensure objectives achievement, good working relations and employee’s development.

Position: Engineering Manager, Reckitt Benckiser Bahrain


Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
  • Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.
  • Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project Clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
  • Budget monitoring and trend tracking.
  • Participating in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/engineering and management project issues.
  • Review and approve project Client invoices.
  • Ensure effective engineering and Client communications.
  • Ensure that all the contractors are trained on HSE procedure before working at the site.
  • To Conduct risk assessments/Env Impact/Aspect assessments of the engineering works.
  • To ensure that all the legal HSE requirements are being met.
  • To ensure that hazards and incidents are timely reported and investigated.
  • To ensure all the Site safety procedures are being followed with respect to the new projects.

Engineering Manager - Philip Morris International


Title: Engineering Manager, Philip Morris International
 
Qualification & Experience:
Electrical/Mechanical Engineer (an MBA would be a plus)
7-10 years’ relevant experience (at least 3 years as a manager)

Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that the buildings, utility services, plant and production equipment/machines are adequately maintained and comply with internal engineering and technical standards in a cost effective way, in order to guarantee the continuity of the manufacturing processes and requirements for quality, efficiency and safety.
Monitor and analyze production costs and take actions to keep costs as low as possible within the set production objectives.
Prepare Engineering budget and timely reporting of it.
