Role Summary: The Field Engineer 6 provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Qualification/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Field Services role).

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel xx% of the time 
  • Must have a valid drivers license
Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred 
  • Strong business acumen and ability to sell GE products to the customer 
  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision 
  • Strong customer service mindset 
  • Prior field engineering experience is preferred 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Prior project management experience is preferred 
  • FEP program graduate is preferred (internal GE employees only)

Job Title: Factory Logistics Manager

Location: Akora Khattak

Job Purpose:
Enable smooth functioning of the factory warehouse management and logistics operations through effective wrapping materials & leaf management, inventory control, transportation of finished goods, warehousing & company wide movement of stock as per requirement.
Manage inventories for incoming Raw Materials (wrapping, casing & flavours and leaf) as per the defined procedures to ensure timely receipt and deliveries. 
  • Manage finished goods inventories for onward dispatch from factory to Sales Warehouse as per marketing requirement on daily basis, while complying with all applicable regulatory & EHS aspects. 
  • Ensure accurate GR & Put away of WM, Leaf & FG. 
  • Ensure real time reflection in SAP of all transactions posted physically. 
  • Minimize anomalies in inventory count and achieve seam less cycle counts & month ends. 
  • Exercise and implement EH&S rules and regulations across all areas including warehouse operations, FLT & pedestrian movement

Essential Requirement:
  • At least 5years experience in managing a complex supply chain in a FMCG company. 
  • Functional knowledge of SAP system. 
  • Experience of both directs and indirect materials. 
  • Functional knowledge of SRM as ‘Purchaser’ status. 
  • Knowledge of Logistics.
